OverviewThis symposium will discuss the issues in diagnosing and treating psychogenic nonepileptic seizures and their differentiation from physiologic nonepileptic seizures and partial onset and generalized epileptic seizures. Pediatric epilepsy cases that present diagnostic dilemmas will be reviewed. The nurse practitioner’s role in developing an epilepsy clinic and treating patients with epileptic seizures (partial onset and generalized) will be examined.
