Third National Walk for Epilepsy a Huge Success!
The dark skies did not deter thousands of dedicated people from showing up on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. on March 28th for the National Walk for Epilepsy. There was some rain and there was some mud, but an estimated 9,000 people came out to support the epilepsy cause and take part in what has likely been, for three years in a row, the largest gathering in the world of people with epilepsy and their supporters. To those of you who joined us on the FIRST walk in Kansas City, I want to say a huge THANK YOU to you and all the volunteers for all your efforts!
I feel like the walk was a huge success simply because it happened. Bravo!
